Information we collect

OilFi collects information you provide, including your name, email, phone number, service address, vehicle details, appointment choices, communications, and service concerns. We also may collect booking, transaction, device, log, fraud-prevention, and approximate location information needed to operate and secure the marketplace. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe; OilFi may receive payment tokens and limited card details such as brand and last four digits.

How we use information

We use information to arrange and manage appointments, communicate with you and assigned technicians, process and document payments, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, and improve our services.

How we disclose information

We may share information necessary for the appointment with the assigned independent technician. We may also disclose information to operational providers that support payments (including Stripe), email (including Resend), hosting, address services, analytics, fraud prevention, insurance, professional advice, and business operations. We may disclose information to legal authorities or others when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or in connection with a business transaction, subject to applicable law.

No sale of personal information

OilFi does not sell customers’ personal information. This policy does not authorize OilFi to sell it.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your information. Rights and exceptions vary under applicable law, and we may need to verify your request. You may opt out of nonessential marketing communications while continuing to receive transactional messages.

Analytics and cookies

With your permission, OilFi uses Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to measure visits and booking activity. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies and process device, browser, approximate location, referral, service selection, and approximate appointment-value information. OilFi does not send them names, contact information, street addresses, vehicle details, or payment information. You can decline optional analytics when prompted or clear your browser storage to be asked again.

Children and changes

OilFi is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post the updated version and effective date here.
