Terms of Service
Effective date and version: August 20, 2026
Marketplace role
OilFi operates a managed marketplace that facilitates booking, communication, payment processing, and technician assignment. Technicians are intended to be independent service providers, not OilFi employees. The assigned technician is responsible for performing the vehicle service. OilFi remains responsible for its own obligations and conduct to the extent required by law.
Eligibility and customer responsibilities
You must be legally able to enter a contract and authorized to request service for the vehicle. You agree to provide accurate booking and vehicle information, a safe and lawful work location, reasonable vehicle access, and keys or permissions needed to perform the service. A technician may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe, unlawful, materially different from the booking, or outside the requested service.
Bookings, pricing, and payment
A request is subject to availability and confirmation. Displayed prices may be estimates. The starting service includes up to five quarts of oil. Oil required by your vehicle above five quarts is charged at the per-quart rate disclosed before service. Optional add-ons are charged when you select them. After service, your saved payment method is charged for the final saved appointment amount. Payment is governed by the Payment Authorization. Taxes and disclosed fees may apply.
Cancellations and service concerns
You may cancel or reschedule without a cancellation fee. A properly documented customer no-show may be charged as described in the Cancellation and No-Show Policy. No additional voluntary workmanship warranty is currently offered. This does not limit warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Report service concerns promptly to contact@oilfi.co so they can be reviewed.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent requests, violate law, threaten a technician, or use OilFi content or systems without authorization.
Disclaimers
Except for obligations that cannot lawfully be disclaimed, the marketplace and platform are provided “as is” and “as available.” OilFi does not promise uninterrupted availability or that every technician will accept or complete every request. Nothing in these Terms excludes nonwaivable statutory warranties or consumer rights.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OilFi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data, arising from the platform or services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OilFi’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount paid through OilFi for the service giving rise to the claim or $100. These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, personal injury caused by legally actionable conduct, OilFi’s payment obligations, or any right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be waived or limited.
Governing law and disputes
Florida law governs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. The parties should first contact each other in good faith to try to resolve a dispute. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive any right to participate in a class action.
Changes and severability
We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a new version. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited only as necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
