Manufacturer-permitted conventional oil

Conventional Oil Change

OilFi’s conventional mobile oil change starts at $129. Conventional oil may be suitable only when your vehicle manufacturer permits it; a lower starting price does not make it appropriate for every engine.

Current starting price

$109, including up to five quarts

The starting service includes the selected oil, an oil filter, up to 5 quarts, and a digital service record. Additional oil is $11.50 per quart, using the same current pricing source as OilFi’s booking-facing displays.

Additional oil, specialty or premium filters, diesel vehicles, optional add-ons, and vehicle-specific requirements can affect the final price. See all current details on the Pricing page.

Is conventional oil appropriate for your vehicle?

It can be a practical selection for some vehicles designed to use it. Many newer vehicles require a synthetic product or a particular specification, so do not substitute conventional oil when the manufacturer calls for something else.

Your owner’s manual or current vehicle-manufacturer guidance should determine the required oil type, viscosity, specifications, capacity, and maintenance timing.

What to consider before choosing

  • Confirm that conventional oil is permitted—not merely that the viscosity number looks familiar.
  • Check the manufacturer’s current specification and oil capacity for the exact engine.
  • Use the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and account for any severe-use guidance that applies to how you drive.

How mobile service works

  1. Enter the vehicle and service address.
  2. Choose the oil service that satisfies the manufacturer’s requirements and select an available window.
  3. OilFi arranges the appointment with an independent mobile service provider.
  4. Make the vehicle accessible at the approved location for the scheduled work.

Suitable locations can include homes, workplaces, apartment communities, and other approved properties with permission, safe access, and enough working room. OilFi is a managed marketplace, not the service provider.

Vetted Technicians

Vetted Technicians means OilFi reviews service providers before they join the network. OilFi then arranges customer appointments with those independent mobile service providers.

Conventional Oil Change FAQ

Can every vehicle use conventional oil?

No. Choose conventional oil only when it satisfies the vehicle manufacturer’s required oil type, viscosity, and specifications.

What is included in the $129 starting price?

The starting service includes conventional oil, an oil filter, a digital service record, and up to five quarts. Additional oil and other vehicle requirements can affect the total.

How often should conventional oil be changed?

Follow the maintenance interval in your owner’s manual or current manufacturer guidance. OilFi does not use one interval for every vehicle or driving pattern.

Can mobile conventional service happen at an apartment?

It may be possible when the property permits vehicle service and the location provides safe access and adequate working room. Confirm location suitability while booking.
